Back in Belmont

Tuesday 3 November 2009

Belmont, MA

I actually set my alarm (harps, very nice to wake up to) I hit snooze of course. I did get up at 7am and went down stairs. Anne was getting the kids’ lunches and breakfasts together. I had a cup of coffee and visited with them. Grace’s birthday was yesterday so she opened the gift Rob and I had given her. She liked it.

I packed up all my stuff and the Yumster and headed for my Seville home. It was good to get back there. I unpacked the truck and then walked over and checked the laundry. It is still open. Yea. So I gathered all the laundry and took it over and started it up. It was so nice and warm that I left the door open and opened some windows. I pulled out the outdoor rug we have and the welcome bears. Unfortunately they got broken in all this moving and visiting. I glued the piece that I found.

I went through all the mail that we had forwarded to us via Anne. I put the skirt back up on the RV and went through all the maps and booklets and everything we have collected on this trip. I tried to put everything away.

I found the gym schedule and decided I was going to go to the 4:00 classes all week. My plan was to finish putting everything away and then work on my Personal Trainer Certification and then go to the gym.

I got most everything put away, but never got to my lessons. The clock continued to tick away and next thing I know it was time to go to the gym. I felt good on the way there because I was keeping my commitment.

The class was Cardio Salsa. It was a really fun and a good workout. It was salsa and cha cha cha steps built into a routine set to good fast music. The class was an hour long ending with a bunch of crunches. Tomorrow it is Boot Camp. It is supposed to be a hard core full body work out.

After the gym I went to the BX did a little shopping and then came home. It was dark already when I left the gym so I won’t be able to ride my bike to the gym for the work out. I don’t want to ride home in the dark.

I fixed myself some dinner, watched TV and caught the journal up. I think I will just post once a week now that we aren’t traveling around anymore. I will write brief daily synopses and just post once a week unless something exciting happens. I am planning on doing exciting things while I am here though.

My drive yesterday was long, but great weather and a very pretty drive. I really love the West,

there are much broader vistas than the East. I ended up driving 12 hours and made it all the Way to Tony and Susan's

house in Vacaville Ca. They needed a bed and I had one to give them along with a few other things.

Today I made to Reno then Tahoe and then Fresno by 1830. Tomorrow I am back in LA and back to work

the next day.
