Seattle

Saturday 1 November 2009

Belmont, MA

We got up way to early. We had to leave the house at 6:30 to be there by 7am for our flight at 8am. Thank goodness we got to set our clocks back an hour. We got on the flight with no problem.

We flew to Seattle. 5 hour, uneventful flight. We watched a movie, but it turned out to be to violent for me so I quit watching it and read my book.

We landed in Seattle at 11am west coast time. We took a cab to Penske and picked up the 12’ truck we rented. We went to the Library, then to a pub for lunch, and then to the condo. We loaded everything (except a blow up mattress and bedding) that was in the condo’s storage unit into the truck. I made up the bed and then went to work out. Rob wanted to do his Seattle run one more time. It normally takes him and hour. I rode the bike and followed him. I began to think that Rob thought he was Forest Gump. He kept running and running. We went on new territory, but then on a large portion of the route that I used to run with him. Then new territory again. He kept going and going and going. Finally we turned in to the High Pointer complex. Rob took a shower and then we went to Trader Joes.

We picked up salads for dinner, sandwiches for tomorrow, a bottle of wine, a baguette, and some snacks. We went back to the condo and watched a movie (August Rush) and ate our salads, baguette, and wine. The movie is really good. I actually went back and watched parts of it over again. It is one that I could buy and watch every year or more.

After the movie we went to bed. Tomorrow we sign docs for the condo and then we leave.
