Hanscom,

I have been sleeping propped up in an almost sitting position trying not to cough. No such luck, but I did sleep fairly well and feel pretty good.
YumYum is still not putting weight on her leg. She at least ate her food this morning. Now I am starting to worry about her other problem since she can’t stand or squat.
I went out to take the garbage to the dumpster and it is a glorious day. It is warm and sunny with a cool breeze. I opened up the Seville and went for a walk. I walked for about an hour. It felt so good to get out and do something. It was really nice.
The rest of the day I spent reading and working on the computer. My cough started kicking in and I was miserable so I went to bed early again.

It is another pretty day. Sunny and warm. I looked up the Vet and called them right away. I made an appointment for 11:30. I fed her and she ate and is putting a little weight on the leg.
I took a shower and was hoping to feel better and more human. It didn’t work.
The Doc (really nice lady Dr) thinks Yummie has injured the ligament in her knee. She says that cats, especially indoor cats, being so lazy, will generally develop scar tissue around the ligament and it will heal on it’s own. She tested her blood to make sure her liver (or kidneys, can’t remember which) are ok and sent us on our way with some pain/anti-inflammatory meds.
We went home and collapsed. I felt horrible and continued to feel worse as the eve wore on. I felt like I was catching a new cold.
I worked on my school stuff. I have to learn all the muscles so I wrote all the info in groups so I could try to learn them. I need to get some flash cards.
I watched some TV and then I went to bed.

5 Days on reserve and no phone calls. I wouldn't have believed it but I am ready to go back to work. I miss flying. I will probably be sick of it after one day, but right now, I am ready. I only have one day off because I concentrated all my days off at the end of the month for Thanksgiving and the drive back West.
