Back to "work"

Flying really is not at all like work.
This is the largest and oldest oak in Savannah, 250 years.
This fountain is cast iron and was mail ordered. Cat says "smile for real now"
A very festive house.
Back to the B lot.

Charleston AFB, SC

We were up around 7 am again. We just chilled, drank coffee and then read. Then, all to soon, Rob had to get ready to leave.

We went by the Shoppette so he could buy some snacks and then headed to the Airport. It was sad to see him go again.

From there I drove to Ace hardware and had the propane tank filled up. Rob had very sweetly put it into the truck for me. From there I went to Publix which is a local grocery store. I returned the movie we rented last night and did a little shopping. I wanted some Christmas decorations for the Seville, but they didn’t have a very good selection. So, I decided to try to find a Wall Mart or something similar.

I found a Dollar Store. It was great. I got some really cute little things and they were super cheap.

I had dressed to go to the gym on my way home and figured I’d better get at it. But first, I checked out the BX. Same ole same ole, so I went to the gym.

I rode the high bike for 30 min and then tried the low bike where the pedals are out in front. It was complicated so I only rode it for about 15 min. Then I got on the treadmill and did my normal 15.0 incline and 15 min miles. I did a mile and a half.

From there I went home. I put everything either away or up and then grabbed the laundry and headed to the machines. I put both loads of washing in the same dryer so that took awhile.

I got a shower and something to eat, and then back for the laundry. I finally got it all done at 7 pm. I watched the Radio City Rockett’s Christmas show. It was pretty cool.

I had to make my way to LA to be on call at midnight. I am on 12 hour call this month, so I don't have to be right in LA, but Savannah (and pretty much anywhere East of the Rockies) is too far away. I hope Cat can get on the road and make it to Arizona soon so I can meet up with her. Its cold for LA, its only supposed to get up to 58 today. I have been spoiled with 70s here most of the time.
