SATURDAY 29 JUNE; ANTIOC, CA

Rob and I have gone back and forth so many times about whether we should keep or sell the boat.  We can afford to keep it and buy an RV, but are we really enjoying it.  It is fun to cruise, but it seems to be pretty boring once we get to the marina.  Definitely not as fun as I thought it was going to be.  The little towns aren’t that fun and we have no transportation.  It’s been so hot that we haven’t felt like walking or even biking.

So, we decided (i believe once and for all that we are going to sell it.  In fact, today at noon Barney Fie came by to look at our boat and present us with his broker spiel.  He really likes our boat and believes it will sell rather easily.  We have kept it in really gook shape, have done a lot of upgrades.

He very nicely gave Rob a ride to the golf course when he left.  So, Rob went off to play golf and I stayed back and finally finished Marc and Teresa’s afghan.  I even made a little basket to stuff it in.

I am really glad to have it done. I have taken it apart 4 times and started over with a different pattern.  It was just coming out to tight and using up to much yarn.  I would not have had enough to finish it and wasn’t sure id be able to find more to match.  The general rule is to buy all you need in the same dye lot when you buy it.  The next dye lot might be slightly different.

It was a much longer golf day than usual for Rob.  I guess it was somewhat slow.  Also, he went to the grocery store before ubering back.

This is what I mean about all the stuff in the water here in this marina

At least some of it is pretty.

Pretty uneventful evening;  except for the pretty sunset
