Sunday, 14 August. Lakeside and Flathead Lake, MT

Lawrence came by this morning and had coffee with us then we all went to the Country Cafe for breakfast. We sat outside and it was lovely.
After breakfast Lawrence drove us up to look at his land that he owns with his partners Montana Eagle Club.  Three of the original 4 investors all flew F-15s known as the Eagle, and one flew F-16s, thus, the name.  They own 650 acres with awesome views of the lake.  It is all mapped out for homesteads, there is already a runway and hangars big enough for a lear jet, there is already a golf school and eventually there will be a golf course.  Then of course the Marina which those who buy/build homes up there will have access to.  Lawrence, himself, owns a 15 acre, and a 17 acre parcel up there.  He is meeting someone later this morning to talk about building a couple rows of condos on the 15.

We drove around up there for a while checking out various parcels and view.

We ended with going up to Lawrence's 17 acres.  This is where he is considering building his own place, but his plans are not solid yet.
We told him he should just put in a pad, water and elec and use it to park and RV.  He is liking more and more our life style.
We left the land and went to the marina to check out his office, see all the plans and stuff, then we went to meet his realtor friend, Larry.  Rob and left Lawrence with Larry and came home.
Rob did a work out and I erased and re-set my phone.  It has been giving me problems and has been driving me crazy.  It took a couple hours to get set back up right.
At 5 pm we met Lawrence across the street at the marina.  He picked up dinner from the restaurant and we went out on one of the pontoon cruisers.  They are awesome.
We went along the edge of the lake looking at cool houses.
This one is right on a point with a huge deck all the way around it.
Now this is what we told Lawrence he needs to do.  These guys have a deck half way down to the water, then around to the left they have a dock and their boat.  This is what Rob and I should do, just buy some land and set it up for our RV.
This drew our attention from afar.  We had to come up closer to it to figure out what it was.  Nice beaver!
We continued on, because Lawrence really wanted to show us this cool house.
Lakeside is know for its Osprey.  This house was designed to look like an Osprey.  With its wings out to the side.  I'm sorry the picture is not the greatest.  The house really was pretty cool looking.
We went on, and picked a spot where we just floated and ate our dinner.
We floated over near a little island and Rob and Lawrence went for a swim.  Bella gets really upset when people go in the water, so I didn't go in.
Cheers broccoli Ears!
We headed back in a little faster than we had gone out.
It was a lot of fun
We said our good byes to Lawrence.  He is off to the airport to pick up his friend/partner.  They are meeting in the morning. We are hoping to get together with Lawrence one last time tomorrow.  He is flying back to Hawaii in the afternoon.
Rob and Bella and I returned to our abode and sat outside around the fire enjoying the rest of the evening before going to bed.
