Tuesday, 9 Aug. Still in Deer Park

I woke up to pouring rain about 5 am and went back to sleep.  At 6:30 it had stopped enough that Bella and I could go out. We got back without getting rained on, which was good.
After we got back it rained off and on all morning.
Rob texted me from at 5:57 to tell me he was on the flight to SEA and that his eta in Spokane would be 11ish.
Then he texted me at 8:57 and told me he'd missed the 9:00 flight and would try the 10:00 flight.
At 11:17 he texted me and told me he was in Spokane, walking to the truck and that he was going to pick up his cleaning on the way.
He got her about noon.  He was in pretty good spirits.
I fixed us some lunch and then he laid down for a nap.
About 2 he got up and wanted to go play golf.  I was for it but said we needed to take Bella for a good walk before we made her hang with us in a golf cart.
We walked the loop behind the club house and office.  Its about 1.5 miles.  It comes out on the road leading into the park and into the golf course. So we walked over to the pro shop.  Oops neither of us had our wallets.  But, the guy was nice and let us take a golf cart back to our rig to get our clubs before we paid.  I got a little chilly riding back to the rig, so I changed into a long sleeve thermal shirt. But, when we started playing the sun came out and I was really hot.
That did not last long though.
We started on the back nine which was nice because I had played the front 9 only with the ladies yesterday.
Well off in the distance we could see it was raining.  The sky kept getting darker and it was getting colder.
Bella started shivering so Rob pulled out a couple jackets.  Then I started getting cold and pulled out my jacket.
Bella and I decided we were cold enough and decided we would go home after nine.  So Rob took us home and then he went on to play the front 9.
When he finished I fixed us a chicken, spinach, and strawberry salad.  It was good.  We watched the olympics.  And then went to bed.
