Thursday's 9 Feb; Los Barriles

Our time is getting short here in Los Barriles.  I have several jobs to do today.  Mainly, as usual, cleaning and laundry.
I took Bella out for her little walk about.  Then I changed the sheets and gathered up all the laundry.  Two bags full. I loaded up the Quad with the laundry, the trash and Bella.  We dropped off the trash first, then on to the laundry.  Along the way I was looking for the hair salon that I had walked past a gazillion times during the past 3 weeks. I missed it.
We dropped off the laundry.  It will be ready tomorrow morning.  Then we drove off-road down to the Pemex station and filled up the quad.  On the way back I looked again for the hair salon.  I found it but it didn't look open.  Bella and I stopped in at Calab's and had breakfast.  It was ok, but not great
I took Bella back and dropped her off then took the quad over to the wash pad and ringed it off.  It is still all muddy from when we rode out to the water fall.  I didn't have a towel with me so I had to ride back sitting on the wet seat.  Not always the sharpest nail in the box.
I sat back out for a bit and Kory from across the street came out in a real cool looking outfit.  She was putzing around, gathering stuff, and packing stuff on her dirt bike.  Pretty soon Bob came out and he was also in a space suit and was gathering and putzing as well.  They were definitely packing up their dirt bikes and it looked like maybe it was for over night.  As it turned out, they were headed off to Todos Santos to spend the night on the beach.  there was a group of them going as it turned out.  They looked very cool in their "space" suits"

I walked over to the hair salon and it was open.  They do not speak English, but I managed to convey to her what I wanted.  Only a trim around the ears and up the neck.  she did a great job.  While looking around I noticed they also do pedicures.  So, I got one.  550. Pesos, plus 100 tip to split between them.  My hair cut was $12.50.USD and My pedicure with scrub, massage, and super buff on the bottoms for $15.00 The 100 pesos tip was actually only $5.00.  Wow
After that I walked back and grabbed Bella.
We walked over the Martin Verdugos which is the RV park where our Canadian friends are staying.  I took a book with me. They have a pool with seating and a bar at the beach.  I got a margarita and sat in the sun (and wind) and sipped my drink and read my book and scooted around until there was no more sun to sit in and I got cold.
We walked over to Tim and Sue's place.  We sat and visited with them and then Toey and Dave got home and they came over as well.
Tim and Sue were walking yeasterday on the new road that the town has been working on ever since we got here.  They have poured all the concrete up to and a bit past our tortilla shop. Anyway, they were walking along up there and Tim tripped on something and fell into a barbed wire fence.  He tore most of the skin off a finger on his left hand and cut a finger on his right.  It took 21 stitches to repair the left one.  Poor thing.  He had a big bandage as well as a splint on it.
I was wanting to go to Tio Pablo's for dinner and asked them all if they wanted to join me.  Toey and Dave already had plans, but Tim and Sue had not been before and wanted to go.  We had a really nice   dinner of ribs and a nice evening visiting.  I really like them. They are really easy to talk with, honest and friendly.  They walked Bella and I back to our place.  That was very nice of them.
Unfortunately, I had two margaritas with dinner and got hit very hard by them.
Im not really sure what I did for the rest of the night.
