I have no idea what time it was when we finally got up, but it was sunny and warm.
We went out for a potty and then came back in for coffee.
We finally decided to go out for a walk about. I wanted to go around the lake, which we did, and also see what this place is about. Oh My Goodness. This place is huge. There is a very large number of full-time or probably Seasonal. It snows here and am not sure if it is still open for the winter or if everyone has to leave in Oct.
At any rate, all around the perimeter there are full time people. They don't have beautiful build outs like we have at Rancho, but they do have some really nice outdoor spaces with fire pits, patios, decks, awnings, etc. Some of them are really nice. They also have fire wood stocked up, but it might just be for the spring and fall evenings.
At any rate, Bella and I decided to go for a nice walk. First we walked around the lake, and then we started following the side roads inside the camp grounds. My good ness, they went on forever. We even found a back road though the woods that no one was living on. As we wound our way around and eventually made it back to our site we had accumulated 55oo steps. Not to bad. There are a lot of people here now since it is a weekend. I would like to take the drone out on Monday and pop it up in the air and see if I can get some pictures of the lake and the rest of the place.
So, after our walk I took a nice shower and we loaded into the car to check out Medina. One of the things I was interested in finding was a fabric store.
We did go down town and fond the square. A Farmer's Market was ending and they were packing everything up. I was sorry to have missed that.
It is a nice park with shops and buildings on all 4 sides and the Market had set up in the park. I will still be here next Sat so I will have to be sure to get here earlier.
Any way, we walked around and took pictures initially.
This building was not labeled so I don't actually know what it is.
This is a lovely church although I did not catch the name.
The central park and gazebo as well as the remnants of the Farmer's Market.
The courthouse!
We drove on and found a JoAnn's store and I bought some fabric to make some shorts later in the week.
We stopped in at KFC and bought something for dinner and then went on home.
I am trying to give Bella something she will eat. She doesn't seem to be interested in Dog food of any sort. Last night I had some chicken and green beans added to my salad. I fixed her a little bowl of the beans and chicken and she gobbled it up. So, tonight I gave her a little bowl of the same. Ya know, if we are supposed to eat pure and organic I supposed it will be fine to do the same for her. I worry, since she is always with us, that she isn't getting enough to eat. She doesn't want to eat any of her food when we get home.
OK. So, I spent the rest of the evening trying to figure out the TV system we bought at the Airshow. As long as we have a decent internet signal we should never need Cable TV again. Right now we are trying to figure out all the ins and outs of the system. They sent me a manual via email, but almost immediately told me it was outdated and that changes had been made although they did not elaborate on what the changes are.
But, I have found the live Raiders vs Dalas Cowboys and so I am watching that and for the most part I am happy.
Rob is in San Diego tonight. He is getting together with his first officer and one of the flight attendants (I think) and watching the big fight tonight. Tomorrow he goes to Maui and I believe they are playing golf together tomorrow as well. That is nice.
After the game I went to Bed. Yippee and Go Raiders!!!
