Saturday, 29 July; Last day in Oshkosh

Wow, what an amazing day.  The weather was perfect and the airshow was awesome.
We got up, drank a cup of coffee and then headed over to the air field.  We have tickets to be in the Aviator's Club all day today.  It is right on the airfield, a big windowed building that is air-conditioned.  They also have a fenced off area where you can sit in the heat of the sun.
We arrived at the tail end of Breakfast.  They were out of some things, but it was still a good breakfast.
We sat at a table with a nice couple and chatted with them for a bit.  They also have a really good wifi which we knew they did, so we down-loaded the last of the updates for the drone and the controller.
Then we went off and wandered.  There were still some things that we wanted to see and this is the last day that we will be here.

This plane was named after the owner's son's dog who they all loved and flew with them a lot. We chatted with him quite a bit.

We went back to the Aviator Club and had lunch.  They had chicken and shredded, bar-b-Q pork which was quite yummy.
After that we went back to the RV and took Bella and the drone back.
We headed back again to the air field to check out more of the displays.

We headed back to the Aviator's Club to watch the airshow.  They had a military bombing run.

And of course a bunch of aerobatics with their colored smoke on. (most of them I shot video so I can't really post it here.)
And sky writing.
The Blue Angels of course did their thing and they were awesome.

There was a break between the day airshow and the night show. So we wandered around a bit again.

Then we returned to the Aviator Club for dinner and to wait for the night show.
The night show was pretty fun.  They had the motorized paraglider.
And a couple planes doing synchronized aerobatics with smoke and all lit up.

The grand finale was the fireworks show.  It was dedicated to the 50 year anniversary of the Apollo Program and it was amazing.  I only took video of it, so again, I can't really include it here. They synchronized it to music related to the space program, like Rocket Man and a few others.  It was the best fireworks show I have every seen.
We rode our bikes home and went to bed
