Monday, 7 November, Seal Beach to Fresno

It has been foggy each of the past several mornings. Really foggy.  Welcome to the coast.
This morning I have a dentist appointment.  My teeth cleaning.  I go every three months like a good little girl.  Today my appointment was at 9:30.  It's nice to get it over with early.
After my dentist I went to the car wash.  My car was so filthy inside and out.  They did a really nice job, and they hand waxed it which was nice as well.  It looks much better.
I went back to the rig and packed both for Mexico and for Fresno.  I left my Mexico bag with Rob.  I also packed up the golf clubs I would want in Mexico.  We have these really cute little travel bags.  I left those with Rob as well.  I packed up food and treats for little Miss Bella, loaded up and headed for Fresno.  Rob seemed to be chomping at the bit for me to leave.  He's going to go play golf.
So, Bella and I went to Fresno.  It certainly is an easier and shorter drive from Seal Beach than it is from Aguanga.
I left at about noon and got up there just before 5 pm.  I didn't tell Mom I was coming today.  Originally I was going to go to Fresno tomorrow.  But, I figured Mom would probably need to go to the grocery store, and I could spend an entire day with her before turning around with Barbara and driving back to Los Angeles.
Anyway, I didn't tell Mom I was coming.  I didn't want her to bust her butt cleaning.
I tried to call her about 30 min before arrival to see if she wanted some Chinese food, but she didn't answer.  I did call the restaurant and placed an order to go.
Anyway, I got there and she wasn't there.  Hmmm.  I let myself in, brought in my stuff, and thought I would sit down and eat a little.  When all of a sudden I heard a car horn.  I looked out and it was Barbara brining Mom home.  They had been out grocery shopping. I asked if they'd eaten and they said no.  I asked if Barbara wanted to stay and have some Chinese food with us but she said no, she just wanted a glass of wine.  So we went inside and indulged.
Bella and Mom were very happy to see each other.
We had a glass of wine, then Barbara left and Mom and I sat down and had some Chinese food.  It is from our favorite restaurant, but it was cold already so it wasn't very good.
We watched TV for a bit and then went to bed.  I am still not 100% and my coughing drives me crazy. I slept well tho and didn't wake up coughing until about 4:00 in the morning.
