Sunday, 30 October, Lake Havasu, AZ to Seal Beach, CA

We woke up about 7:30.  It was already getting warm.  Rob went out and deflated the paddle boards and started rolling them up to put them away.  I took Bella out and then helped him roll up the second board.  I went in and started putting stuff away.  He came in to cool off.
I completed all the inside tasks with the exception of pulling in the slides, but Rob was still inside.
So, I went out.  I folded up the chairs and put them off to the side.  I rolled up the rugs and put them away.  Then I folded up the fence and put it away.  Bella was still inside with Rob.  I pulled up the back jacks.  The Rig was still connected to the truck, so I started pulling up the front jacks.
Rob finally came out so we finished up and hit the road.
We left at about 9:00 for our 5 hour trip to Seal Beach.  I am excited.
At first I wanted to just stay at Havasu for a week or so, but between the heat and especially the bugs, I was ready to go.  I really like Seal Beach.
The drive was actually pretty easy and seemed quick.  It was pretty while in Arizona,

But California, for the most part was flat and deserty.
At 10:00 I found the NFL stations on my radio.  I found the Seattle Seahawks/New Orleans Saints game.  It was New Orleans Radio so it was quite biased against the Seahawks.  Rob called and said he found the Raiders on a certain channel.  I tried to get it but didn't have that station.  I did find it after a previous game ended.  They played against Tampa Bay and the station I found was pro Tampa.  So, the two games were only two stations apart so I listened to both games.  Unfortunately the Seahawks could not pull it out in the final moments.  The Raiders went into overtime.  They got the ball first, but had so many penalties they kept going backwards.  They kept the Buccaneers from scoring and just as time was running out, which would have ended the game as a tie, the Raiders finally did it.  They scored a touchdown and won the game.  Yippee!
I actually got to Seal Beach before the game ended and sat in the car listening to the final few minutes.
Rob was an hour behind me.  Bella and I went for a walk and checked out the various open spots.  First we were going to go into Number 32, but # 3 was closer to the laundry room and to an area where I can walk Bella.  So, we settled on 3.
We got everything, including Bella's fence set up quickly.
We then sat outside and enjoyed the late afternoon.  The office isn't open, we just have to go through the camp host.  He is real nice.  He came by and we signed the documents, but we have to wait until tomorrow to pay for it in the office.
It started to get a little chilly so we went in.  I fixed us a couple nice BLTs and we watched TV.  I am starting to feel funky and uncomfortable, so I went to bed early.  I don't even remember 60 minutes.  Hmm
