Monday, 17 Apr - last day at Mc Dowel Mt. Regional Park, AZ

Our last totally relaxing morning here in this cool park and camp ground.  It is an awesome place, but the fact that we have no cell or wifi and that there are rattlesnakes makes it a bit unnerving for me.
We sat out and enjoyed our last morning.  We have a funny quail that sits in the tree nearby and sounds like he has the hick-ups.  We can also hear road runners and all sorts of other birds.
It has been really warming up and is supposed to be close to the 90s today.  I am glad we are moving on tomorrow.  But for today....
We took Bella for her last walk.  We did a three mile hike and encountered a tarantula walking off the road and into the brush.
I know I have seen scorpions scarring off into the brush on occasion as well. We have also seen lots of lizards that Bella always wants to chase as well.
After our walk Rob and I went for our last bike ride.  It was a similar trail to one that we had done a couple days earlier.  It was alot of fun.  Dips and dives and climbs and turns.
Later we went into town so Bella could have one last romp at at the Fountain Hills park.
Then we came back, ate dinner, watched a movie and went to bed.
