It is a lovely warm morning. I woke up pretty early. We went out for our little walk. Then I showered, got dressed and took all the laundry to the machines.
I came back and got caught up on the blog again.
We are moving tomorrow, finally! We are going to Phoenix for about two weeks. We are going back to the Solar man who did our solar back in 2009. He included the ceiling fan on the same circuit that the A/C s are on, so when we are running on solar and batteries not only can we NOT use the A/Cs, but the ceiling fan doesn't work either. That has been pretty miserable at times.
Anyway, we are leaving first thing in the morning so I have some cleaning and packing up to do today.
Rob just finished a two day trip, but he had to fly to Las Vegas. He has suffered some disabilities from the military and is being compensated for it, but he has a hearing dealing with his back today and had to be there for it. He will be home around 5pm. Its always nice to have him back home. I also have some sewing to do. It is mending so I always have a tendency to put it off. But, today is a good day to get it done.
I got all the laundry completed and as much sewing completed as I could. It started with a couple items Rob needed fixing, a shirt and a pair of shorts that had the elastic shot. I was able to fix the shirt, but I needed to measure him to replace the elastic. I also put some elastic in the sleeves of 4 of my new T shirts and took them in.
I did not, however get to the cleaning, or putting things outside away.
When Rob got home I was still sewing. He decided he just wanted a new tie put in his shorts rather than elastic, so that was an easy fix.
He wanted to sit outside and enjoy his last day in Tucson and enjoy a beer.
So, we did.
