HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAN! It's my brother-in-laws birthday today.
It was chilly and overcast when Bella and I went out for our first thing in the morning walk about.  Seems like a good day to stay in and take care of business.
So, first things first, I got all caught up on the blog.  I was a week behind again.  It basically took me all morning to get caught up.
After that, since I was feeling like a blob, Bella and I went out for a 4 mile fast walk.  Unfortunately, I forgot to bring any water.  It was sunny and pretty warm when we got out to our pathway by the golf course.  Luckily, the first hole we encountered had a drinking fountain on it.  So, I filled up Bella's dish and she got a good drink. They have dixie cups at their water stands so I filled one up and folded it over hoping it would last for awhile.  I also put more water in her bowl and took it with me.  Since we were only power walking rather than jogging it worked out pretty well.  Surprisingly she was not all that thirsty.
We got back and I decided I would go to the BX and Commissary.  She is out of her chicken treats and not happy about it.  Plus we needed some other items.
That all went well.  But, I forgot the movie I needed to return to Red Box.  So, when I got back I didn't unload the car, I just grabbed Bella and the movie and went back out.
When I got back I unpacked the groceries and gave Bella some treats.
Then, I scanned through Netflix and found a movie.  The USS Indianapolis staring Nicholas Cage.  It was based on a true story, the story of the ship that delivered the Atomic Bomb to the base where they flew it and dropped it from.  Since it was so top secret they sailed without and escort both going and returning.  On the way back they were torpedoed and sunk.  They remained floating in the water for about a week being attacked by sharks before finally being rescued.  The only reason they were rescued was because some planes were looking for a plane that had been shot down.  It was a good movie and worth watching.
During the movie I started in on my May Kleenex box.  I completed the top and two sides while watching TV this eve.  I didn't accomplish a whole lot more before going to bed though.
