Rob and Jim got up early and left about 7:30. Jim and Sharon have a jet and they flew it from Dallas to here. Rob, naturally, wanted a ride.
They flew from the Edwards Airport and shot an approach into the Aspen Airport.
Then on the way back they flew over the house. They were so high though that we couldn’t get a good picture of them.
They got back to the house by 9 am. We had a nice breakfast and then went off to play golf. It was a nice course called the Summit, so obviously it was high up there.
It was very open, very windy and very cold on the front nine.
This was where you could actually order drinks and food from the snack bar that was at the turn.
From here we dropped down in elevation a bit and it was less windy and warmer. Much more pleasant.
After golf we returned to the house.
Sharon made jalapeño poppers and guacamole. We sat out on the deck sipping margaritas.
Later we had Chicken Enchiladas with Spanish rice for dinner. Quite yummy!
We played a couple hand of Spades (cards this time) and then went to bed
