SATURDAY, 12 SEPTEMBER 2020; LONG BEACH, CA

 Saturday, 12 September, Long Beach.

I read on face book that were are now in the “BER” months.....September, October, November, December.  I thought it was cute.

We spent the morning trying to figure out how we are goi g to be able to watch the Raiders and the Seahawks play football tomorrow.  I spent quite s9me time on the phone with Direct TV trying to get Sunday Ticket. I don’t want to spend $300 bucks for it so I was tryIng to go through retention to get it for free.  No dice. The best they would do was give us a $50. Discount.  Forget it.

We decided to go for a bike ride.  We decided we would go right on the trail and go inland.  We rode about five miles and realized it was getting smokier, so we turned around and headed back.  We rode the beach trail until it turned inland to go around the Balboa Marina.  Then we turned around and headed back.

Rob took off to LAX to show the Titanium to someone interested. It would be so nice to sell it.  I stayed back and used the upholstery cleaner on our love seat. Not sure this particular brand is doing anything.  We’ll see after it dries and I vacuum it.

Rob came back and we both feel asleep in the recliners.  Nothing like an afternoon nap.

Ag made it back to the Bay Area and sent us this picture.

I’d say that Margaret is thrilled with her new car.!  What a sweet son to buy it for her.  Also, when you have a car that you really like and you decide to sell it it is always nice when it goes to a good home and a person you care about.  Very happy it went to Margaret. It’ll be a good car for her.

Rob decided he wanted so frozen yogurt. Bye said there is a shop .9 miles away so we set off walking.  I was a little disappointed in the limited choice of flavors, but I settled on Açaí with mocha , granola, and Reece’s chips. It was pretty yummy.

We headed back, but not from wince we came. New went through Pikes Outlets and then down to the water.  There are a lot of people out and about this evening. It’s nice. There is a big line of people wanting t9 go into Nike. Not sure what’s going on there.  There was also a big line to go into Cotton, but they had a sale of nothing over $10.

Our walk back gave us a total of 3 mile walk. Always nice to do that in the evenings.

We fixed dinner, watched TV and went to bed.
