After enjoying my coffee Bella and I went out for a run. She is really a bratty. She will run for 3 - 6 miles if it is a loop or an out and back, but she does not like repeating loops. She starts to seriously lag behind. I can just squeeze 2 miles out of this place and then we have to repeat areas covered. I wanted to run 2 and then walk 2, but she wouldn't have it. I don't like having her on a leash when I run because she likes to stop and sniff and pee and I don't like having my arm broken from her sudden stoppage. So, usually she will stop then run and catch up. Not today tho. She kept lagging behind. I ended up having to hook her up. Then when we got close to home she wouldn't come at all. So, I put her back in the yard and I continued to walk for another mile.
Shortly after I got back Rob called so we chatted for a bit.
I showered and then loaded up Bella and we headed out to see what Akron is all about. It is about 45 min drive from here.
So first of all, Akron is the home of LeBron James of the NBA and they are very proud of that.
It is quite the industrial city.
I didn't realize it was home to Good Year.
Or Coka Cola
Or the Soap Box Derby
I did take a picture of the race track, but can't seem to get it into the blog! Oh here it is!!!
They have some other interesting things going on as well.
We didn't actually stop and check anything out, we just drove around and took pictures and then headed back to Medina.
We went to JoAnn's so I could get some more craft supplies and then on to Walmart so I could get some RV toilet paper and a few other supplies.
After that we went on home, ate dinner, watched TV and went to bed.
