I cannot believe it is June already.  I always feel like time is just zooming by. I'm afraid the older I get the faster it goes.
Bella & I did our quickie little walk about.  Rob actually got up early as well.  She was sitting with him as I was getting ready.  As I started getting dressed and ready to go she was trembling.  Hmmm, Is she dreading the fact that I might drag her off with me or afraid I'm going to leave without her.  It must have been dread, because she tumbled until I left and then stopped shortly there after.
I went off to Santa Rosa to work.  Today I will be there with our new Special Ed Intern and with the gal who is going to be taking over for me as the Director of special ED for all 4 schools.
It is still really frustrating, because still, no one has informed the parents or students that we no longer have a Special Ed Teacher to serve them. So, we did what we could.  We had to write a new schedule so our Intern could meet with the students. We need to write progress reports on 40 students that covers the entire school year, We have to figure out what progress they have made on their goals that range anywhere and everywhere from social/emotional to Written Language.
Oh congratulations, I suddenly have to figure out Apex, the high school on-line academic program and Compass, the Elementary/Middle School academic program.  I should have known it all along, but up until now I have been very successful at avoiding it. Now I need to learn it so I can go in and see what courses the students have been enrolled in, what curriculum areas they have been working on so I can see how it relates to their Special Ed goals, so I can see what progress they have made toward those goals.
Bella, Anna & I walked over to the little deli next door and had lunch together.  It was really nice.  Anna and I worked together back in 2000 - 2003 at the Charter School in Prosser Creek. We worked for Jayna back then and she recruited both of us again to work for her at Pivot.  It has been fun, but we don't get to spent as much time together now. Anyway, we had a nice lunch together.
Anyway, the SPED room is hot and stuffy and I felt like we were spinning your wheels.  We did come up with a plan and I told them I would not be in for the rest of the week.  I work better when it is quiet and I can concentrate on what I need to do.  Also, I'm going to Chico for the next two days,
Rob kept Bella all day.  They did laundry and went visiting.
Bloomie bought a house 2 ears ago and has been working on it ever since.  He tore it down to the studs and has been re-modeling everything.  Bella and Rob went to check it out and to visit.
When I got home from work Rob, Bella and I went to Berkeley and met Bloomie at a Cajun restaurant.  It was pretty good.  Rob & Bloomie both had Jambalaya and I had crawfish etefeye.  It was really spicy.  There is a really good Louisiana style restaurant in Seattle. It is callee the New Orleans Cafe and it is my absolute favorite Cajun food.
Anyway, we went for a walk by Berkeley High School and the two of them reminisced a bit, we continued on to our car and said our good byes.  We went back to our rig and went to bed.
