Working in Santa Rosa - Monday, 6 May

Really foggy again this morning.
Not such an exciting day today.
Rob got up and left at 4:30 this morning. He had to drive to the Santa Rosa Airport to catch a flight to LA.  He has to go through his law enforcement training that he has to complete every 6 months.
I left at 7:30 to go to Pivot North Bay.
Why is it that a 30 min drive always seems to take me an hour.  I was planning on getting there at about 8:15 and instead i got there at 8:40 and walked in on an interview that started at 8:30.  We are interviewing for new Ed Coordinators as well as Special Ed teachers for next year.  We have 40 SPED students and need two full time SPED teachers.  We interviewed several General Ed Teachers (I only sat in on one of those) and one Credentialed SPED teacher and one SPED Intern.  Both of the SPED candidates were real good, and the one Gen Ed Teacher candidate I sat in on was real good also.
I personally worker on Progress reports on SPED goals all day.  I worked some with our Intern and he was a pleasure to work with.  We actually got a lot accomplished and I feel like I can finish them up tomorrow.
Bella really had a tough day.  She was really restless all day.  We were so active over the weekend with walks, runs and golf, and having to be quiet and still today was a bit difficult.
We finally got out of there at 4:30.  We stopped once, and then rather than drive straight back to the Coast Guard Station (and going to the dinning hall for a decent meal) I decided to drive out to Bodega Bay.  Rob is still in LA, so I thought it might be nice.  I thought maybe I could take Bella for a walk along the beach and maybe I's get a bite to eat.
As it turned out, there was really nothing out there for us.  I didn't really see anywhere for us to walk and nothing really jumped out at me as a place to eat.  We just turned around and drove back to the base.
We ended up getting back at about 5:50 which was 5 min after the dinning hall closed.  We scrounged around and found something for us to eat.  A bit of beef dog food for the Boo and some spaghetti for me.  It was pretty boring.
Speaking of boring, TV tonight was almost unbearable.  I ended up channel surfing for the most part. I finally gave up and went to bed.
Back to work tomorrow and Graduation for North Bay.  It may actually be my last day of work.  We'll see.
