Happy Memorial Day; 30 May 16; El Cerrito, CA

Another fun day; We  had a little coffee then went to Kensington to Krishen and Jenny's house.  Bella got to make two new friends; Macy is a little white fluff ball and Teddy is A Poodle mix.  They are both really cute.  Belly was obsessed with Teddy and Macy was obsessed with Bella.
We sat in the lovely sun in the back yard for a while letting the dogs get acquainted then went inside for a delicious breakfast.
After we ate we loaded the dogs in two cars and drove down to Berkeley Bulb.  It used to be a commercial dump; then the homeless took it over.  When I say it was a commercial dump I mean it was a place where commercial businesses dumped their stuff.  There are big slabs of concrete and large pieces of metal, and stuff like that. Anyway, after they stopped the dumping they moved all the homeless and they cleaned the place up.  Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, are all full of Artsy, beatnik type peeps and they went down there and created amazing art out of the stuff that had been dumped.

Its hard to see in the fog, but the Golden Gate Bridge is in the distance between us

We said good bye at the Bulb, and then Rob, Bella and I went back to the Moran's home.  Tonight is the Warriors' final game of the Western conference.  The have come back and it will be determined tonight.  I have a big conflict. I'm not crazy about Basketball, but I do like Ice Hockey.  Tonight is the first game of a 7 game series for the Stanley Cup.  This is the first time the San Jose Sharks have been in it. Their game starts at 5 and Warriors start at 6 pm.  We were supposed to go next door to The Moran's for dinner and the game.  Bloomie came on his bicycle. Rob and Jim had taken the dogs out for a walk before the game started, so Bloomie and I stayed and watched the 1st period of the Sharks/Penguins game.  It was tied up 1 to 1.  I watched about half of the 2nd period, It was 2 - 2. then I went next door and watched part of the Warriors's game.  Dana's sister Deidre and her 2 kids were there, as well as Dana's mother Joyce.  I hadn't seen them for awhile. It was nice to see them.  Dana made a really good Sweet Potato Chili and corn bread.  I had made a couple salads.
We ate and I watched a quarter of the Warriors' game, then returned to our little house on wheels to watch the last period of the Sharks.  OH Nooooooo!  they lost!
I went back next door and watched the rest of the Warriors. It was really good.  Especially since they won.  I thought that was it, but Oh no!  They are now going to be in another 7 game playoff.  I doubt I'll watch all of them.
Dana's family left pretty quickly after the game.  We helped clean up then came home.  Bloomie came and visited us for a little while and then he rode his bike on home.  We went to bed, as I had to get up and go to work in the morning.
