Today is a horrible day. Not only are we still stuck in Texas when we should be driving to El Paso at least today, but we are both feeling sick and hungover. Never try to drown your sorrows, it only makes the next day pathetic. And, to make matters worse...It is raining. How depressing is that?! And... it is only Friday, no football, not even College ball like there would be if it were Saturday.
So, what shall we do all day. Rob was looking at emails and we are planning on buying a house in Pahrump, NV. We have a realtor looking for us and he sent us pictures of a house that looks really good and is extremely reasonable. Rob decided we should fly to Vegas and rent a car and go to Pahrump and check out the house. Well, how crazy is that??!!! No to mention flying will still be impossible, plus having to pack, find a hotel over Christmas, Blah, blah, blah, need I go on?? Yeah,, NO!!!!
In the end, we decided to go see the new Star Wars movie. It is showing here in Kerrville and in 3D. We drove over to the theater and bought tickets for the 4:30 showing. Rob popped in at a local gym to see how much they would charge to work out there and then we checked out a couple places to possibly get massages.
I was really starting to feel horrible from the driving around and wanted to go home.
We decided we should make Christmas Cookies. I like snowballs and Rob likes molasses. So we pulled out the recipes and Rob headed off to the store. He also wanted to do a little shopping.
So, off he went and Bella and I stayed home.
We went to the Movie, which was really good and it was 3D. I am finally feeling like a normal person again.
We came back and Rob baked his Molasses cookies. They turned out pretty good. I fixed some dinner then made the dough for the snowballs.
We watched a movie and went to bed.
