We got up, had our coffee and decided we were going to hit the road. We have reservations for Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station for Saturday, 16 December and that is going to be 8 days of driving 5 hours a day to get there. Rob has to go to work on the 17th, so we really can't dilly dally.
So, we packed u and let Bloomie know that we were moving on.
It was a horrible day. Needless to say, I had a bit of a hang over and war really hoping that we would stay an extra day so I could recuperate. But, we moved on. I was dieing. I had to pull over several times. I even had to pull over and take a nap. I thought it would be only about 10 or 15 min, but I woke myself up snoring after 30 minutes.
I did feel a bit better afterward. I had no idea where Rob was.
Funny, I was driving and I saw the RV parked in a Rest stop so I pulled in next to him. He was very surprised to see me. He thought I was way ahead of him. I told him I had had to stop a couple times.
I did zoom on ahead of him once we got back on the road and checked us in to the park in Houston. The people were nice and it was filling up rapidly. There was even a Class A on the road waiting to pull in.
We set up and then went for a little walk about. It was a nice place but nothing to write home about.
I had made some Chicken Noodle soup in the crock pot last night, but we didn't eat it since we went out, so Rob had it for dinner tonight. I didn't want anything. I just wanted to go to bed. We watched a little bit on Longmire and then I did go to bed.
