 HAPPYY FATHER’S DAY

Again we headed out into the Sacramento River.  It was calm and lovely.  Based on tides we didn’t depart the marina until 1055.  It so nice to have it so leisurely.

Those cows are Happy Cows.  they are standing in the water along the Sacramento River. My friend Kate says they are trying to keep their milk from curdling.

It was pretty tight getting into the Marina;  between the current, winds and small area.  Luckily some people came over to help us with lines.

This is the Point Restaurant It is supposed to be a really good  Seafood restaurant. Unfortunately it is Father’s Day and we did not have reservations.  They said it would be about a 20 minute wait and we could wait in the bar.  I finished my whole margarita before they called us in.  Once we were called in it was about 15 min before anyone took our order and probably another 20 min before our food came.  At least the food was good, but it wasn’t the greatest of experiences.

We went for a walk to check out the town.  Not a whole lot of it. We walked back to the boat and watched the US Open on the TV
