This was a fun journey because we had to request bridges open for us. The first one was the Rio Vista Bridge which requires 4 hour notice. We had talked to them yesterday and asked them to open it at 10 am.
It was such a smooth and pretty journey.
Next up was the Isleton Bridge. When we called them to request the opening they said “we’ll get right on it”.
Cool stuff along the way.
Then the Walnut Grove Bridge and then we had to tuck into our spot up against the boat works dock along (and still in) the river. We arrived at 1045. Rob took Bella out right away and said town was just across the street. So after everything was secure we went out for a walk about.

This is Al the Wop’s place. It is a Restaurant Bar. We decided we would come back here for dinner tonight.
We walked to the Big Store in Walnut Grove and then had to go across that same draw bridge to go to another store.
We got back to the boat and went for a swim.
Then we did go back to Al’s for a steak dinner, blood orange beer and a first weekly Trivia game. It was really fun. we took third place. Not to bad.
