17 AND 18 JUNE - RIO VISTA

 17 JUNE

Rob rode his bike to the store and then out to the Golf course to see where it was.  The mapping program took him the wrong way, to a locked gate.

We went on a nice walk to breakfast and then around the immediate area.

It was nice.

A great big container ship went by out in the River.  It can be a very busy place

18 JUNE

Rob rode his bike carrying his little golf bag and went to the golf course.  It is inside the Trilogy development which is similar to our Mountain Falls homes around the golf course.  He said the course isn’t in really good shape.  Apparently the homeowners have recently taken it over and they are working hard at improving its condition.
He played a very quick round and was back in three hours which included his ride to and from the course.

He came home and took a nap.  Then at around 6 pm Dave came by and he and Rob went for a two hour bike ride.  they came back, showered and the three of us went to Fosters for dinner.  There were probably over 50 animal heads and full bodies up on the wall.  It was sad to think that someone had killed all those beautiful animals. Rob and I split a pastrami sandwich and a salad.
Around 8:30 Dave’s friend Edward came and joined us.  He is a really nice man.  He lives in Rio Vista in the Trilogy development.  He is on the City Council and is running for Mayor.
We had a lovely visit with him.
