JANUARY, 2024; ROB, CAT & BELLA

 January finds us still living in Pahrump;  however; we spent the beginning of the year in Mexico!  San Jose Del Cabo with Jennifer and Tony; and Los Barriles visiting Chuck and Laurie

Jan 21- 29 we went to Arizona

Rob, Bella and I first went to Ehrenberg and stayed in a little Cabin thing.  Marc and Teresa were supposed to join us a day later, but the place really wasn’t designed for two couples so we told them not to come.  The problem was the upstairs with its three beds wasn’t really a bedroom.  You couldn’t stand up, you’d have to crawl and the stairs were so steep you could break your neck trying to come down in the middle of the night.

We did meet up with Bruce and Debbie who were in their camper checking out the Schoolie Paluza.  It was interesting.  She said the peeps out there were Bohemian Nomads.

 

Rob booked a 2 bedroom Hilton for Marc, Teresa, Rob, me and the 2 dogs.  We drove the jeep towing the RZR on the trailer and Marc & T drove their truck pulling their RZR on a trailer borrowed from Bruce.

The grounds were lovely, except we came back from dinner and found a bunch of wild pigs snuffling around.

 Tony and Holly flew in to Phoenix and rented a jeep and drove to Sadona.  They didn’t stay with us, they stayed in a fancy resort over looking the River.  On the 24th the 6 of us took the Verde Canyon Railroad train.  We rented the whole Cabose.  It was awesome.

 

It was a really beautiful ride.  We had lunch, Champagne and wine

                   

It was so amazing that even the dogs loved it

 Of course we took lots of pictures

Next we hit the trails in the RZRs

We explored town and came across some interesting items, like this sheep made out of spark plugs!

On the way home we stopped in Kingman, AZ;  Rob had seen an ad for a jeep and he wanted to check it out
