SUNDAY 9 AUGUST 2020, GIG HARBOR, WA

I woke up to clear blue skies.  Yippee, no more gloomy cloud cover.  I love it here when it is sunny a warm.  Unfortunately about 3/4 of the time here in the Pacific Northwest it can be cloudy and gray.

Rob is not one to sit idle, so we drove over to an awesome Off-Leash park.  It is a big wooded park with 15 acre off-leash dog area with over one mile of fenced trails.  It is awesome.  Bella loves trails and these are grate parks.  We wandered around for about 40 minutes before heading back to the rig.

Next we went off to play golf at Medrona Golf Course.  It was such a lovely day.  The course was nice and we didn’t have to wait very much. We played with two funny guys.  One seemed to be just learning and was struggling and the other was really good but having a rough day.  They were both playing with new clubs.  The one who was really good had just received his clubs an hour before arriving at the course.  Pretty funny.

After finishing our round we went into the cafe there to watch the rest of this year’s first PGA tournament.  We watched Colin Morikawa (a youngster from CAL) win with a 5 stroke lead over the rest of the pack.  We watched while enjoying Teriyaki steak skewers, and pork slices, a beer and Bloody Mary.  It was fun.

Everyplace we go out here has these giant, beautiful flower baskets hanging.  They really smell good as well.

We went back to the rig and chilled before grilling all the rest of the shrimp, sausage and chicken that we didn’t use the other night in the paella.  Thankfully there wasn’t tons, but it was good to use it all up.

We watched last weeks episode of Yellowstone before going to bed.

It is very nice having Rob back.
