Friday, 22 July , last day alone in Leavenworth

This is my last day alone in Leavenworth and I am running out of things to do.  Rob gets back late tonight.  I'm glad.
One thing you can always do, when you can't think of anything else, is clean.  So I will do that.  One can always dust, mop, vacuum, change the sheets, clean the face of the refrigerator, etc.  
So, I did all that, except the laundry.  It is to nice of a day and I can always do that later.
I needed some Walmart items so Bella and I drove to Wenatchee.  after getting most of what we needed I looked for a CVS pharmacy, but there aren't any around here, only in the Seattle area.  But I did find a Fred Myers.  It's very similar to Walmart, but with a better employer ethic.  They didn't have what I wanted either.
As a reward for dragging Bella to all these weird places we decided to go down to the River Front Park.  We parked down there and started walking.  We discovered a Sculpture Garden

Then we saw an amazing creature!

I cannot remember her name, but she is a cocker spaniel Irish Setter mix.  You can see her size, she comes up to her owner's knees.  She   has a funny mohawk and long blond hair along her cheeks.  She is a bundle of fur and energy and darling. Her mother was very nice.  She is a South Dakota Bird Dog?  I looked them up and didn't see anything like her.

We continued our walk along the water front. They have flower gardens;

From there we headed home, but decided to stop at a Fruit Stand, Mercantile store that we pass all the time.  They have produce, jams, other cool stuff and a whole playground with fun stuff for kids.To include a "cow train" which actually moos as it goes along;

From there we stopped at Safeway and then back to our NOW  PACKED meadow.  

I'm actually a little jealous.  Last weekend and then again this weekend there are groups of tent campers together.  Like a big family, or big group of friends.  It looks like a lot of fun and makes me a little sad that we are alone.  It would be fun to be traveling with a group of friends as we do this.

Time will tell, perhaps we will meet some people that we want to hook up with and travel with.  That would be fun.
