As Bella and I were on our early walk-about we came across a deer eating on some bushes. Bella saw it before it saw her. When it did see her it turned toward her and started to come toward her. I thought maybe it was going to come and check Bella out, but it turned and walked away. Bella crouched down like she was going to pounce on it but I nipped that right away. Those deer have sharp hooves.
Later, as I was sitting and working on the blog, the deer wandered through the empty space next to us.
We got everything all packed up and ready to go. I wandered over to the office when it finally opened to get my package that should have arrived yesterday. I had ordered some zip off pants from Back Country. It hadn't arrived. I checked online and it said it would be delivered today. Shoot. I went back into the office and asked when UPS usually arrives and she said by noon. It was 10:30
Soooo, Rob took off with the rig for Leavenworth. It's a 4 hour drive. I decided I'd go into Sequim to the Safeway to pick up stuff we will need to make Paella tomorrow in Leavenworth. I figured that would kill some time and then I'd come back and check on my package.
I got back at 12:15 and UPS still hadn't arrived. I decided i my head I would not wait past 1:00. In the mean time, I called UPS only to find out that now it is not scheduled to be delivered until tomorrow. Two days late! So I called Back Country and arranged for them to have it rerouted to Leavenworth. After that I hit the road.
It was a beautiful drive, especially through Snoqualmie Pass. The best part?! Blue skies.
Rob arrived at 3:30 ish and set everything up. I had taken a couple wrong turns and finally arrived at 5:45.
Yippee! It's a nice park and we have an awesome spot.
It is so beautiful here. And driving into where our rig is parked I encountered wild turkey.
Since Rob had already set everything up, when I arrived all there was for me to do was put away the groceries. So, we climbed back in the car and headed in to town for a walk-about. It is soooo pretty
It was starting to get chili (we are in the mountains after all) so we headed back to the RV park.
We had a quick bite, chilled, and went to bed.
