HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYBODY

Rob got up and left early in the am and Bella and I slept hard for another couple of hours.
The firecrackers continued on for another couple hours last night and kept me awake.
Bella and I drank our coffee and chilled for a bit.  Then at 10:00 we went out for a WOG.  A wog is a combination of walking and jogging.  I walked briskly for a half mile then jogged for a half and continued alternating this way for 6.5 miles.
I started on the same path that we did the other day, but deviated for a couple miles.
I ran through the wild flowers
I ran by a pond.

Then we ran out by the Air Field

And then back to the RV Park.
We literally chilled, as in cooled off, for awhile and then showered.
At 3:00 Bella and I drove over to Ft Lewis Main and went to the stadium.  They are having a big Independence Day celebration.  They had an area with the blow-up jumping houses; they had rides, an arcade with fun carnival games, food booths, entertainers wandering throughout the crowd and a big stage set up with bands.  Later they will have fireworks.
We wandered around for about 2 hours.  We ate a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and a funnel cake. We didn't actually finish either one of them.  Bella was pretty freaked out by most of the rides (we only watched, didn't try to ride any) as well as the crowds and the noise.  I figured she would not tolerate the fireworks and besides that, they probably won't happen for another 4 hours. Soooo, we decided to go home.
We stopped and got some diesel, as we are moving tomorrow and I do not have a full tank.
From gas we entered the Berkeley gate, but unfortunately we entered Ft Lewis rather than McChord so had to turn around and go back out.
We finally got to the correct gate leading onto the correct base and found our RV without any further hitches.
We watched TV and waited for darkness to see if we would be able to see any pretty fireworks rather than just hear what sounds like a war zone.
