Wednesday, 29 June, Ft Lewis, WA

Sadly it was overcast when we got up this morning.  It was bright and sunny yesterday when we landed, what happened to that.
We lazily drank our coffee, made phone calls and caught up with the blog.
At 11:00 we went for brunch.  We went to a nice little restaurant in Lakewood.  We had to wait for about 30 min for a table. I read a cute little coloring and activity book about the Seattle Seahawks while we waited.
From there we went to check mail.  We arranged for our mail to be forwarded from Pahrump and were hoping it would be there today.  No luck.  We'll have to check again tomorrow.
Next we went to "Whispering Firs Golf Course on McChord.  We had made a tee time for 1:00 because that is when the sun is supposed to come out.
It is a pretty course.  There were two foursomes in front of us.  We gave them plenty of leeway ahead of us before we started, but we ended up catching up and then started to have to wait. The couple behind us started breathing down our throats so we invited them to join us.  The man, Lance, works at the course and the gal, Michelle, plays there often.  She was pretty good.  Small gal but really a power hitter.  We had fun. Bella enjoyed it as well.
After golf we went to the dinning facility for a little dinner.  Its funny, on the Army side they charge you one price ahead of time and you get whatever you want.  On the Air Force side they send you in first and then charge you by what you select.  It was ok.
Afterward we played 9 holes of frisbee golf.  We let Bella off leash for it.  She was so funny.  She kept barking at us as we'd get ready to throw, then she'd run after it and try to pick it up.  She did this for all 9 holes.  Needless to say, when we got back to the rig she went down for the count.
We were all a bit tired actually.  We just chilled and watched TV.
