Friday 13 October; Bedford and Belmont, MA

I actually woke up feeling pretty good this morning. I didn't cough all night like I was afraid I would  
It is not especially cold out.  Bella and I went out for our little walk. 
We decided we would go and play 9 holes of golf today.  There are a couple things I would like to do as well
We went out to the golf course but they were in the middle of a tournament and so they gave us a Tee time of 2:30.  
So, errands while we wait. 
We made a couple phone calls to see if I could get an eye exam anywhere.  I really wanted to get it done today so they would have more time to get my glasses once ordered.  But, couldn't find anywhere to get the exam.  So we went to base to see if they could fix my glasses.  I have been wearing non-current glasses because my current ones kept falling apart again while we were visiting Laurie and Chuck in Minnesota.
They were able to fix my glasses and there was no charge which is so nice. I hope they last this time.  
After that we found a place to get Bella's nails clipped.  They were really long.  I had wanted to go to a vet so we could also get her caught up on some of those extra vaccines like Lime and Lepto....sp?, and possible rattlesnake.  But, he sweetly found a groomer so we went there and they did a nice job.  
I don't think I will repeat her rattlesnake.  She won't need it right now and she reacted last year to her follow-up so maybe we will wait until we are home and need it again. 
We got a bite to eat and then went back to the golf course.  The tournament was still going on.  Apparently they started an hour late and then got backed up.  The guy in the pro shop wouldn't let anyone fill in the gaps, he wanted everyone to wait until the tournament was over. That was going to be closer to 3:30.  We finally decided to bail.
We went home and chilled for a little bit and then got ready to go to the girls' High School football game.  It is their last home game and it is "Honor the Seniors" night.
Grace is in the marching band.  She was all dressed in and looked very cute in her band uniform.  We saw her right away and she saw us.  Then came over and gave us a hug.
We were not sure when Dan was supposed to get there and Anne had a class and would not get there until after half time.   The band was going to play at half time so we were definitely there to see that.  Also, Grace's boyfriend is one of the football players.

Since it is Senior night, the senior band members were to march out on the field first, accompanied by there parents and be recognized.  Grace asked us if we would walk out with her because her parents weren't there.  Of course, we were honored.
Dan arrived just as we were lining up to go out on the field, so the three of us accompanied Grace out.  It was funny because they announced her as being "accompanied by her parents, Anne and Dan Curtis"

She is such a sweetie. 

We didn't get to meet her boyfriend.

Anne and Dan were going to get together with Grace's boyfriend's parents for dinner after the game.  They had not met yet.  Grace had plans so Rob and I went on home.  Besides that, while we were out and about today somebody put a notice on our porch telling us that we were not allowed to have a dog fence.  That meant that we had to lock Bella in for the evening while we were gone.  I can tell you that I do not like that at all.

We watched a movie that we had picked up and then went to bed.
