Saturday, 7 October; Great Pond to Rockland, Maine

Before going to bed last night I packed up the TV, covered and strapped down the sewing cabinet and secured stuff from the table.
So this morning I didn't have as much to do. Also, since it started sprinkling yesterday I rolled up the rugs and put them away, folded up the chairs and put them under the rig and took down some of the fence.
I took Bella out for a walk and it was really pretty at the Pond.  The colors are starting to pop.

We sat enjoying our coffee and then packed the rest of the stuff up and were on the road by 10:00.
It was a three hour easy drive.  I stoppped to take a picture or two and then tried to catch back up with Rob. 

 I finally caught him just after he arrive at the RV park.  We found our spot and got all set up, including the fence.  Then we walked down to the beach.  It is really nice down there.  It isn't really the beach, it is more like a bluff over looking the water.  There are several places to sit and Bar-B-Qs.

From there we drove off to the grocery store. Anne is driving up from Boston to stay with us for a couple days.  We wanted to fix Paella for dinner so we needed to get all the goodies.  

We came back and started prepping everything for the Paella.  We realized we were still missing some items so Rob went back to the store after them.  I continued to prep the stuff.
Anne joined us about 5:45 and so we started cooking the Paella right after she arrived.  Once it was brewing we sat and got to visit.  
We ate inside as it was getting dark and a bit chilly.  We had a really nice visit until bed time.  We made a cozy little nest for Anne and then we went to bed.
