There were a lot more people up here today than yesterday; perhaps because there were two giant ships in port. Although there were an awful lot of out of state cars in the parking lots.
We hiked all around up there and ....

This one is the summit marker!
This one gives directions to the summit marker.
Then of course there were awesome views.
We drove on further and overlooked a favorite beach for sunning, swimming and other water sports.
It is quite beautiful. The whole drive was quite spectacular with beautiful ocean, bay and rocky views.
There were some very fun trolleys on the road, but there were also some really scary BIG busses that took up more that their share of the road.
We also stopped in at the Coast Guard Station with it's lovely lighthouse. There are like 132 lighthouses along the coast of Maine. It was quite a hike down some steep stairs to this one.
Another thing that was fun about our lighthouse visit were the buoys with their bells out in the water. They clang as the buoys rock and they each have a different tone. It was nice.
On the way home Rob wanted to stop at a gym in Bangor for a workout. I sat in the parking lot and worked on yesterday's blog since we have no service back at the rig. I got most of yesterday's done, but was not able to save or publish it.
We stopped in at a grocery store on the way home and then stopped in at the lodge before going to the rig. I was able to save and publish the blog before going to our rig.
Once there we had an adult beverage while unwinding and then went to bed.
(This is being published tomorrow while enjoying a meal at Sea Dog Brewery in Bangor Maine!)
