Tuesday; 10 October; Megunticook, Maine

Today was a fun day.  We decided to take our bikes and take the ferry over to Islesboro Island and ride the 30 miles then check out Lincolnville. 

We drove to Lincolnville to the Ferry.  We had to wait until all the cars and all the walk-ons were loaded before we could walk on with our bikes.  

Bella is not crazy about Ferry rides, but we had her blanket and put her between us on the seat and she soon fell asleep. 
She was glad when we got off and 

headed out

It's a very pretty island.  Kristie Alley used to have a place there, John Travolta still has a pace there as does Chris O'Donnel.  As we continued to ride around I kept trying to figure out which might be John's home.

 We stopped in at various places

 to check them out.

 Then we stopped in a a store that had a deli and got sandwiches.

From there we rode out to Turtle Park and hiked out to the water's edge and had a picnic.

We completed the 30 miles which took us back to the Ferry.

 We sat up top because it was really comfortable weather-wise.

We went into Lincolnville and drove around for a little bit and then headed on home.
