Up at 6 am (actually I slept in 'till 6:30) then on the road at 7am. We drove to Boston Airport to drop Rob off. He has a trip starting tomorrow so gets to spend the day flying to LA. It is a direct flight, but 6 hours worth.
After dropping him off I came back to the rig and then found a place to get my hair cut. My appointment was at 9:15.
I contacted Anne to see if she was up and home. She was teaching but said she'd be home later in the morning. I was only about 10 minutes away from their house.
So, I went to the grocery store and then to Costco and then headed over to their house. No one was there yet so Boo and I sat on the porch and waited.
Dan arrived on his bike and then Lauren arrived. They had both been rowing on the river. They have a big race next weekend and today they had a trial run on the river. It is twisty turney with bridges they have to maneuver under. Dan rows alone and he is backward using a mirror to see where he is going. Lauren is part of an 8 member team and also row backward, but they have a coxswain who can see where they are going and they call out.
We had a nice visit for a couple hours. Anne got caught up in errands and then had a massage appointment so I missed her. I was starting to feel like crap. So rather than go to a movie with her later I elected to stay home and get through the cold.
When I got home is was nice out and unfortunately I had left the fireplace on so it was really hot inside. I knew Bella was going to want to stay outside and she would be very good out there on her own unless......she saw a squirrel or chipmunk, then she'd be gone. I decided to put the fence up just enough that she could sit on the steps without me having to worry about her.
Boy I just kept feeling worse and worse. Headache, and of course a horrible caught that gets more out of control as the evening wears on.
I finally went to bed proper up on pillows.
