Thursday, 12 October; Maine to Mass

Today we are moving on.  I'm kind of excited about that.  It is real pretty here and we have had a good time, but I'm getting antsy.
We have about a 4 plus hour drive so we got into it right away and packed things up.  Rob wanted to be on the road by 9 or 9:30 and we were.  We hit the road just after 9:00.  Bella is getting much better about the whole thing.
It used to be that as soon as I started tucking things away she would start trembling.  If I pulled in a slide, she was out of here and often used up in the car until it was time to go.  Now, she sits in her bed until  it's time to pull in that last slide.
Anyway, the drive was ok.  I was supposed to go on ahead of him and check us into the base Fam camp.  We didn't have reservations and we were not even sure if there was space.  However, I ended up stopping a couple times and ended up getting there only just ahead of him.
I'm coming down with a cold.  I can feel the pressure building up in my face.  I can also feel it in my chest so I know it's going to be a bronchial thing.  I hate that.  I was really starting to get sleepy.

I got to the campsite just ahead of Rob.  There were plenty of open spaces.  It is a good thing that I didn't get there to soon ahead of him because I couldn't get a space without giving them a copy of all of our registrations and a copy of Bella's shot records.  He arrived and we check out the available spots.  We got settled in.  Rob took Bella for a walk and then he left and went to Anne's for dinner.  I was starting to feel horrible and sleepy so I stayed back.  I took a nap and then watched some TV.

It got pretty as the sun was going down, but it was hard to take a picture of it.  There are lights throughout this park which get in the way of pictures.
