Monday 20 February; Santispac, Muleje; to Rice and Beans, San Ignacio.

It was a perfectly lovely morning.  We all got up pretty early and packed up and moved out.

Today we are driving to Rice and Beans for the night.  It is in San Ignacio.  We were hoping to meet Jen and Nickalee, but it looks like that is not going to happen until we get to Guerrero Negro tomorrow.
It was a pretty drive, but unfortunately, thinking I was deleting one blurred picture I deleted 30.  Which were all the pictures from  today.  The pictures I do have are pictures that Rob took and shared.
We stopped first in the town of Santa Rosalia which is about an hour north of Santispac.  Rob and I had come here before due to the above bakery.  We purchased some yummy bakery items again here.  We also wandered further around town.  We actually found a place along the highway where we could park all three rigs so we could walk here.
Rob thought this was pretty cute!
We got all settled into Rice and Beans.  We are the only ones here, so that made it pretty easy,
We all climbed into our cars and drove in to check out the town and the mission.
Town square in San Ignacio, Mex
It is a cute little town.
John is taking a picture of the Mission that is just across the street.  It is a pretty Mission and the grounds are lovely.  I am so bummed that I lost the pictures of the grounds.
I don't even have a picture of the front of the mission, just the side, and little of the grounds.

and some interior.

The town was small and there wasn't a lot to do there, so we headed back to the the Rice & Beans and to their restaurant to try to take advantage of their wifi.
While we were gone some Quad riders came in.  They are riding off road from Ensenada to San Jose Del Cabo.  That is over 1000 miles.  They have come almost half way.
While we were inside using the wifi and having cocktails a Vagabundos Caravan arrived.  They had about 10 RVs with them.  They are doing a 30 day.  The wagon master will lead them down, then they will be on their own for about 15 days and then they will meet up again in La Paz or Santispac and he will lead them back out.
Some of them were really struggling to get their big RVs situated.  We felt sorry for them as we watched from the patio outside the Restaurant.
We all had dinner in the Restaurant that night.  The inside is plastered with stickers from all over the place.  Rob took some pictures of some of them.
Sip to the Tip was probably a race.
Baja amigos is another Caravan tour (just like it says) and we have run into them in several places.
It was a fun day and evening.  We look forward to moving on tomorrow.
