Wednesday, 1 March; Tucson, AZ

We checked last night and sure enough, we are on the list for a full hook up site for today.
I got things ready inside the rig.  We walked over to the office for the 11 am meeting.  On the way over we saw a really great corner space that was open.
When we walked in I told the people at the desk that we are number 4 on the list and that we would really like space 20 if it is still available.
We waited for them to take care of the three people ahead of us and when they finally called us forward we were really happy to discover that they were indeed putting us into space 20.  Yippee!  It is awesome.
We went back to our rig and finished packing and hooking up and then moved over to the spot.
I had gone to Pet Co a day or so ago and bought two more pieces of fencing.  That allows us to have all the same fencing and eliminate about 5 feet of fencing that is too big.
It is such a nice spot with trees
a really cool decorator table and benches
Anyway, we went to our new spot and set up.  We set up our new rugs and our new fencing and it is really nice.
We also put up the solar lights and the humming bird feeder.
We gathered all the laundry and got it ready, but rather than take it to the laundry we decided to do it later and in stead went for a bike ride.
Rob found a ride called Fantasy Island.  It is a bunch of loops with twists and turns and dips and jumps and half pipes.
 Look at this huge cactus.
I think it is the tallest  I have ever seen
I can't even see the top of it.
There were other interesting cacti as well.
The trail was gnarly at firs and I wasn't especially comfortable, but then I started getting more comfortable.  Then we came to a fun intersection
These are different state license plates
This is an entrance to a different loop

This is not the way to go on this loop
We decided to go on the Bunny Trail. Every 50 yards or so there is a picture of a bunny or stuffed bunnies, or a stuffed bunny stuck in the cactus.  The trail was pretty easy.  Lots of turns, but no steep ups and downs.  It was really fun.
Bunnies!
We went through flat areas with really interesting cactus plants of varying varieties.  It was really cool.

We even came upon some cows.  I felt really bad for this one that is laying down.  She has a big chunk of cactus stuck in her upper lip and hanging there.
It can't be very comfortable, but as Rob tried to approach her to perhaps remove it she got up and started to move away.
Across the trail from her is another cow.
She is flat out eating the cactus, so I guess they aren't to concerned with the stickers.!
We rode on and finished 10 miles of the fun trail ending with a section of half pipe that was really fun.
We went back to the rig and showered.
Then we did laundry and grilled burgers for dinner.  We went to bed and read.
