Monday, 27 February, Yuma/Winter haven to Tucson

 Today should be a fairly easy day, but we are excited to get to Tucson.  Rob and I aren't nearly as excited as John and Lori are though. Naturally, because we are going to an Air Force Base, but they are going home.  They are very excited to be getting home and especially to be able to see their daughter and their grand sons.

Only three hours and  28 minutes to get there.  This time it should be real time.

It didn't take anytime at all to cross over into Arizona.  That is always exciting for me.  Rob and I always shake hands and welcome each other into the new state.  This sign was a little disappointing.

This one is more like it.

We pulled into a truck wash, because our rigs and vehicles were sooooo filthy.  It wasn't a great job, but both our truck and our rig looked much better.  

From there we hugged good bye.  Not for too long tho, John, Rob and I are going to get together and play golf on Thursday and then we are all going to get to gather for dinner afterward.

But for now, we are going separate ways.

We headed on to Davis Montana Air Force Base in Tucson.  We will be staying at the Agave Gulch Military FamCamp.  We arrived and checked in, but it was full.  They put us in overflow.  Actually, it wasn't to bad.  We had a lot of room around us.  We just don't have any hookups.  We set up Bella's fence and the rest of the of the set up.  It is nice that everything is working like it is supposed to be.  All the slides and everything.

Although, the door to the trash did come off again, so I need to fix it again.

We are on a waiting list for a regular spot with hook ups.  They told us it'll probably be two nights.  We are supposed to the list at the office between 5 and 5:30 pm and see if we are highlighted.  If we are, we have to be there at 11:oo fir them to call our name and give us our spot.  If we are not there, then our name goes down to the bottom of the list.

So, after getting everything all set up we decided to go for a walk about. It is a nice area.

We went out to the grocery store to get some items, but we still went out to dinner. and then came home and went to bed.
