We got up early and had our usual Coffee.
Seth, our RV repair man arrived about 8 am. We showed him the leaking sinks, the inoperative bedroom slide and added to the list were the lousy drawer slides for the file drawers in the living room. The drawer slides need to be replaced with longer, heavier ones and the place where they are attached needs to be reinforced.
He started on the bedroom slide. Since we can hear the motor running but there is no movement it must be the gears. He removed the motor and sure enough, its the gearing. Now the question is does the whole thing need to be replaced or is the gear housing separate and replaceable. He made a phone call and found out the gear housing is separate and ordered it to be delivered 2nd day air. Now onto the sinks. Rob had removed the pea-trap and there was a seal there that he could not get to go back on. Seth couldn't get it back on either. So he went off to the hardware store to buy a new part. We had looked for one along the way but were unable to find one that fit. He returned and struggled with what he bought because the part we have has a built in drop in diameter. So he went off to an RV parts store.
While he was gone we took Bella for a walk around the campground. They have a funky waffle ball golf course through the forest, horse shoes, and frisbee golf. The frisbee golf course is not regulation size either.
Seth came back and struggled with the sink again. About the time he was going to inform us that he was going to have to order the replacement he tried one more thing. He took the seal out of the new part and tried it on the old part and low and behold it worked. Thank God.
He will come back when the gear housing comes in and fix the slide housing and do the drawers. It might be Saturday, if not, then on Monday.
After he left we salvaged the day by playing golf in Missoula. It turned out to be a beautiful day. I was freezing in the RV in the shady forest, so I dressed warm. It first it was fine, because it was breezy. But, once the wind died down it was quite warm. It would have been perfect in shorts as Rob was dressed.
It was a nice course. Open and not terrible difficult. We had to wait on a couple holes for a threesome in front of us so a single behind us joined us. It turned out he was a kid from the local High School team. He was going to be a Junior. He was real good. The threesome in front of let us go through so we had no more waiting. I got into trouble on hole 8 so Rob asked Clay if he wanted to go on ahead rather than wait for us and he did. We had a good time.
After golf we went to the Costco in Missoula and then to Walmart for some groceries and other items.
It was almost 8 pm when we got back. We ate left overs, read a little and then off to bed.
At 10:00 I took Bella out to go potty. It was still so light out that I didn’t need any additional light to see her or anything.

We have been corresponding with our neighbors from the Ranch, Pam and Craig. They are supposed to do the Alaska tour with us, but we are all convinced it will be cancelled.
They were going to meet up with us in Sand Point, Idaho. They said they were going to leave on 11 July, drive to Mesquite the first night, Salt Lake City the next and wanted to know where to go after that. They have reservations for Sand Point on the 16th. We were hey, if you are Mesquite on the 11th and Salt Lake on the 12th, you will be in Salmon, Mt on he 13th and you can meet us in Whitefish, MT on the 14th rather than wait to hook up with us in Sand Point. That's a way better plan. Better still, they are now leaving on the 10th and will meet up with us on the up with us in Whitefish on the 13th. We will be able to take them to Glacier Nat'l Park and Flathead Lake, Kalispel, etc., and the we will travel together to Sand Point. We finally found out that they are planning on traveling for about a month and have no real plans. They have not visited Washington State (which is where we are headed) so they are going to travel with us. It should be fun. We will revisit places we have already been, but they are all places that we really enjoyed so it will be fun sharing the places with them.
The pandemic is getting worse. Florida, Arizona, and California have had had so many increases since the reopening that they are about to be shut down again and return to mandated "stay-at-home" with all non essential business closed again. 13 other states are on the verge of the same. It is so frustrating. It is people's stupidity and selfishness that is causing it. All they want everyone to do is wash their hands, wear masks in public, especially around other people and maintain 6 feet distance from anyone outside their own household. But idiots think their "constitutional rights" are being violated so they refuse to do it. They won't have any rights when they are dead, and in the mean time they wreck it for the rest of us who are willing to carry out our living safely. Sad
