We rented a boat for the morning. It’s a ski boat but none of us want to ski. Thank goodness it has a Bimini, because it is going to be hot and sunny and we will definitely need the shade. Since it is going to be hot and sunny and since we only have the boat for the morning Marley, Shelby and their Bella were left behind at the RV. Our Bella came with us naturally. She has to get used to being on a boat.
She definitely was not digging the boat, especially when we went fast and it bounced. I don’t especially like bouncing either. She hid under the driver’s feet, in the shade on a towel for most of it.
Our first destination was over to the floating 17th green. The guys did find it yesterday and we wanted to get a look at it from the water. It was pretty cool, and pretty, as in nicely landscaped.
We couldn’t get very close to it, naturally. Next to it is the driving range and they hit out into the water. They have buoys out there with flags on them for targets. Its pretty cool. Their pro shop and restaurant is up above the island.
The lake was pretty rough due to the wind so we decided to cross to the other side. That is where the wind was coming from and we were hoping it might be calmer over there.
It was! There were some cool houses over there and other things as well, like this Teepee! And its Totem pole.
Rob and Craig fished....
I drove the boat.....
We headed back to the dock. They had delivered the boat to the dock at the RV park, which was very cool, so that’s where we had to return it.
Rob and I took care of some business and then we headed into town. We went to Rite Aid, then we found a place to wash the truck and then we went to Costco.
When we returned we all Bar-B-Qued and ate at our place, again, because we have the shade and the fencing.
There is never a dull moment with all of them. We have a saying, “Move your feet, lose your feet”...
