Friday, 13 Jan, Santispac to Santa Rosalia

It was a lovely morning again.  I took Bella out early and unfortunately did not have my phone with me, because the moon was just tucking behind the hill and it was beautiful.  We walked down the beach aways and as we were coming back the sun was popping up and lit up the beach and island and it was amazing.
Rob and I drove up to Santa Rosalia.  It is about an hour away.  There is a bakery there that Jennifer always raves about.
We have to go through Mulege to get to Santa Rosalia.

We wandered around Santa Rosalia and got a bite to eat.
We made it to the Bakery and got all kinds of goodies.  Then we went to find the church that we came to look for.
It was built by Gustov Eiffle, of the Eiffel Tower.  It is all metal.  It was built in France and was going to be shipped to Africa, but they didn't want it and there were termites in Santa Rosalia, so this is where it remained.

We wandered around some more and checked out the plaza. As we were leaving they were finally taking down their Christmas decorations.

We headed back to Santispac and arrived in time to fix our contribution to the group potluck.
I fixed Brussels sprouts.  We had chicken, various salads, a venison goulash, all kinds of good food.  And we set it all up just in front of where we live on the beach.

This is the entire group on the beach at Santispac. Minus the 9 dogs and one cat.
It was a very fun evening.
Afterward we made our circle a bit smaller and sat around the fire until bedtime.
