Unfortunately I have a really bad head and chest cold and coughed all night and was unable to sleep. I feel awful today.
Bright and early, around 6:30 in fact, some locals came around with a truck load of fresh veggies. Another had fresh prawns, shrimp cocktail all made up, and various frozen fish. Also, warm tamales and empanadas. Yum. We bought a bunch of stuff. We had a warm tamales for breakfast.
Pam and Bob, who are our neighbors on our right, have inflatable kayaks, so they filled them. We filled our inflatable paddle boards as well. Lori and John, who are on our left also have paddle boards as well. Rob, John, Lori and I headed out on the boards toward one of the islands. Rob turned around and zoomed back to deal with someone who was supposed to wash our truck and fill our water tank. John, Lori and I continued on.
It was so cool out there. There were sea gulls nesting, pelicans nesting, loons and other birds. We saw a stingray and on the way back I saw a volleyball sized jelly fish.
We made it all the way out before Rob came out to join us.
I was really feeling lousy then so I went in and took a nap. Rob went back out on his board and took the camera with him

Rob went into Mulege (Moo-le-hay) to go get drugs for Carolyn and I. She is sick as well and it has already turned into Bronchitis for her. I stayed in and napped.
Rob returned with the meds and I took some right away. He got something for the sinus congestion and then some cough syrup. I used my inhaler and the cough syrup and it helped right away.
We planned to Bar-B-Que the prawns we purchased that morning.
Lori made a salad of tomatoes and sliced Avocados to go with the prawns she was making, I made an Asian salad to go with my prawns and Pam fixed rice to go with the fish she was bar-b-ing. We had an awesome dinner. And we all sat around the fire. Others came to join us as well.
It was a great evening.
