Wednesday, 4 Jan, Aguanga-LAX and back

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBARA.  HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL, FUN FILLED DAY!
It is actually a pretty day today.  Really cold though. I have to go to LAX today to pick up Rob and to leave my car with the Teton.  We are not sure how the roads are in Mexico and my car has such low clearance that we feel it would be best to not take it.
So, I decided I better go through it, under seats, glove box, trunk, etc and take out things that I might want in the truck instead.  That required me to find places for the things I wanted to keep.  For example, our golf clubs have been living in my trunk as have our frisbee golf equip, grocery bags, chipping target and bags for cold groceries.
So, I did some repacking of the front storage in the RV.  It is the one under the bedroom. And was able to fit stuff in there. The golf clubs and inflatable paddle boards are going to have to find some place to live, but I think that is going to require completely repacking the downstairs storage.  I'll leave that for another day.
Bella and I left at about 11:00 and drove to the Teton in LAX. It was a pretty easy drive traffic wise.  We got there and didn't see the truck.  Bella and I went for a walk while I called Rob to find out where he was.  He was inside the rig and the truck was parked across the way.  Oh well.  We got my car all snuggled in, climbed into the truck and headed for home.
Rob did everything all goofy about his flight physical.  He met someone who told him about a Doc in LA, so, Rob cancelled his appointment in SEA to see the new guy.  As it turned out, the new guy isn't in today.  So, he scrambled and made an appointment with a Doc he has gone to before in Temecula.  Bella and I sat in the parking lot and waited while Rob went in for his physical.  It turned out to be a long wait.  The Doc didn't like his EKG.  He redid it and then told Rob is has a Right Bundle Branch Block to his heart and he couldn't pass him with the FAA without getting it checked out. Rob said it had already been detected and it wasn't a disqualifier.  The Doc wanted him to go see a Cardiologist but also said if he could get his previous Dr to send him a copy of the physical and EKG where it first showed up he would ok it.
Needless to say, Rob was pretty livid when he got out of the Dr.'s office.  He put in a call to Dr Koch up in Tahoe.  She is also a flight surgeon and he sees here every year.  She said yes she has seen it and noted it and it does NOT  disqualify him. She told her to call her office in the morning and tell her people to fax the Previous reports to the Doc down here.
We came home, had dinner, watched some TV and went to bed.
