Saturday, 24 December, Fresno, CA

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYONE. I hope everyone has been nice so Santa will be good to you.
We had our normal coffee, bagels etc.
I went off to the store to buy the toilet paper.  24 rolls of toilet paper packaged is about the same size as 8 rolls of paper towels packaged up!
I came back and we started playing cards.  We turned the Raiders vs San Diego Chargers game on and started watching it while playing cards.  But during the 3rd quarter the chargers we starting to catch up and so I felt I needed to give the Raiders my full attention.
We were doing pretty well and then halfway into the 4th quarter our quarterback, Derik Carr got sacked and broke his leg.  Oh my God, his fibula.  Not only is he out for the rest of the game, but for the rest of the season.  He is supposedly scheduled for surgery tomorrow, Christmas Day.  Poor guy, praying for a full and speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, the Raiders were able to hang onto the lead and won the game.
Mom and I watched TV until bedtime
