Sunday, 15 Jan 2017; Santispac to La Paz

It was to be the longest drive yet on our journey so we wanted to get an early start.  
We were all lined up and headed out by 7:30.  It was early, and the driving was a little rough initially because the sun was seriously in our eyes.
It was a pretty drive.  And of course we stopped along the way for comfort stops (to pee) and fuel, 

and once just to enjoy the beauty.

 

And onward through Loreto which looks like a great place to go back to visit.

Then finally to LaPaz.  

It was just a little parking lot type RV Park.  We did have full hook ups though, and after 4 days on the beach, dry camping, I swear our RV sighed with relief when we finally dumped.

Some went out to dinner that night, but most of us just stayed in and ate left overs.

We decided as a group that we were going to leave at 8:00 tomorrow morning for our last leg, into Los Barrelis.
