Wednesday, 11 Jan; Guerrero Negro to Playa Santispac

Another long day today. We all got it together and left at 8:00 am.  We did really well in fact.  We were all lined up and ready to go and hit the highway at 8:03. Pretty good for 10 rigs.
We have a long way to go today, from Guerrero Negro to Playa Santispac which is just south of Mulege, on the beach.
We are having a great time.  We have been going through all kinds of little towns and some are really pretty, but I do not remember the names of the towns at this point.
I did finally get my pictures figured out so I am just going to put the pictures I took along the way without a whole lot of verbiage.
This is where our friend Jennifer usually stays when she drives down.
Santa Rosalia is a cool little town with a church built by Gustav Eiffel.

We all pulled over on the side side road for lunch.  Our wagon master wanted to stay for an hour, but we were all "let's go"  So we did

This was a very "palmy" area.  Real pretty

This was another fuel stop, but not everyone needed fuel.
Finally, we are back to the Sea of Cortez
And there is Santispac.  You can see the RVs on the beach down there and we are going to join them.
Ah, a closer view and we are getting excited!
And here we are!
It is so lovely here and we are here for 4 nights.
The road has been sooooo bumpy and we have had little surprises when we arrive and open things up.
The first night things had fallen out of the upper cabinets and onto the slide.  The new cabinet on the floor had opened and contents (just out of arms reach) had fallen out making it impossible to close the doors, making it impossible to put the slide out.  So, had to lay across the cabinet with tongs and reach down and pull everything out first.  We solved that problem by putting pillows down between the doors and the slide so the doors couldn't come out.
Upon our arrival here we discovered that our closet had collapsed.  All our hanging clothes are on the floor.  And there they will stay until the end of our journey down.
We sat around in a big circle, around our propane fire pit and enjoyed the group and the eve.
