Tuesday, 27 Dec. Fresno - Aguanga

We had coffee and bagels and then Rob and I packed up the car.  We gave big hugs to Mom and then headed out.
We need to get back to Temecula in time to pickup the truck.  It has been in the shop getting new brakes and overall check up in preparation for pulling the rig down to Mexico.
We did get back in time to pick it up.  That was good
It was nice to be back home in our own bed and our own routine.  Although, I must say that, Mom and I have a pretty comfortable routine and the bed is very comfortable when I stay there.  But, she and I eat too much and drink to much and I don't do any exercising when I am there.
I am really starting to feel antsy about continuing on with our journey.  We both decided that we are happier when we are traveling. We are more active with hiking and biking and we seem to eat better and drink less.
We are looking forward to the next phase of our journey which is the caravan trip down to Cabo.  It will take us 10 days with the caravan.  After that we have reservations to stay in Los Barreles, Mexico (1.5 hour drive north of San Jose del Cabo, and 1.5 hour drive south of La Paz).  It looks like a lovely resort.  We are just a little nervous about staying in Mexico.  Rob is mostly concerned about me being there alone when he goes on his trips.  But, I'm sure it will be fine.
Anyway, we had dinner and watched TV out on our patio with our fire table and patio heater.  It was lovely.
